Get Familiar with Fetch

Learn How to Use Fetch in 2 Minutes

Go though these sections for detailed instructions on each feature

Matching Products Automatically

  1. Visit one of your old posts to try out Fetch. (Make sure your post has images with clothing in it)
  2. For more accurate results, include brand names in your post (i.e. Forever 21 top, Gucci shoes)
  3. Click the orange button that says “Add/Edit Products” (The shop button page that opens should show all the images from your post)

4. Click “fetch products” to automatically find products based on your photos, and wait for the progress bar to complete.

Shop Button Tab

 

  1. The Shop Button tab controls which products appear on the “Click to Shop This Post” overlay icon on each of your pictures 
  2. You can edit which products show up on each indivudual picture  in the post
  3. Delete products using the X at the corner of each product
  4. Rearrange using drag and drop
  5. If you would like to add additional items, click “Add Products” to visit the Fetch catalog. This will take you to the “Search for Products” tab. To return to the previous page, click on the “Shop Button” tab on the left
  6. All changes on the Shop Button page are saved automatically when exiting the pop-up
  7. Preview the post to see your shop button

Product Carousel Tab

 

  1. Open the fetch window using the “Add/Edit Products” button, then click “Product Carousel” in the left sidebar
  2. In the new WordPress, you can also add a product carousel as its own block. To do this, search for “product carousel” in the block menu
  3. The Product Carousel Tab allows you to create and insert embedded product carousels throughout your post (like a shopping widget)
  4. The Product Carousel tab acts as a library for items you may want to insert into a product carousel.  Previously added items will appear here.
  5. To add more items to this page, click the “fetch products” or “Add Products” button.
  6. Clicking “Add Products” takes you to the “Search for Products” tab. To add an item to the library, select the “Product Carousel” checkbox in the right sidebar (image below). Then click save changes

Adding a Product Carousel (Shopping Widget)

  1. Once you are in the product carousel tab, click on the products you want to add to a carousel, then click “Create Product Carousel” at the bottom right. This will take you to your carousel editing page
  2. Add/delete/rearrange the products on this page, choose your layout, then click “Insert Product Carousel” at the bottom right.
  3. The carousel will insert at your mouse location (or end of post by default)
  4. Preview your post to see what your carousel looks like
  5. Multiple product carousels may be inserted into your post

 

Search for Products Tab

  1. Click “Add Products” or the “Search for Products” tab to open the Fetch product catalog
  2. Fetch’s catalog includes fashion, beauty, wellness, and furniture items. Automatic matching is limited to fashion, but any of the items in the catalog can be added to your post

  1. Use the search bar to look for specific items
  2. Filter your results using the color filter
  3. Set price limits for your results using the price fields
  4. Reset your filters using the “Reset Filters” button

Adding More Products

  1. Click on an item to open the right sidebar
  2. The top of the sidebar shows the product details
  3. The Add To section lets you add this item to specific photos or the product carousel
  4. Click “Save Changes” to save any changes to this item. If your post has a lot of photos, you may have to scroll down to view the “Save Changes” button
  5. Return to the Shop Button or Product Carousel tab to view your new products

Understanding your Sidebar

Download and Upload Fetch

  1. Download the fetch plugin file from our email (make sure to keep it as a zip file)
  2. If the Frenzy plugin is still active on your site, deactivate the current Frenzy plugin
  3. On the plugins page, click “Add New” at the top left
  4. At the top left, click “Upload Plugin”
  5. Choose the plugin zip file that you just downloaded, then click “Install Now”
  6. Click “Activate Plugin”

Create your Fetch Account

  1. Hover over the Settings tab in your WP left sidebar, then click “Fetch”
  2. In the Fetch settings, input this invite code: wcJx10lS42
  3. Enter your information and choose a password, then click “Sign Up”
  4. Click “I Know How to Use It” on the pop-up (the other button takes you back to this page)
